Our view: Badams becomes Sunshine Week hero
When the American Society of News Editors asked for Sunshine Week heroes, we only had to look as far as the Erie Times-News conference room. That's where Erie schools Superintendent Jay Badams sat Feb. 21 and spoke candidly about the huge financial expense the Erie School District faces to renovate schools so they are equitable for the district's 12,300 children.
